What you'll get

How it works

Step 01

We pull every flyer

Every Sunday we scrape every major Ontario grocery flyer — No Frills, Food Basics, Loblaws, Metro, Walmart, Sobeys and more.

Step 02

We score every item

Every price gets compared to the Statistics Canada provincial average for that product. We calculate exactly how far above or below average it is.

Step 03

You get the best ones

We send you the top deals — the ones that are genuinely worth buying, not just items that look cheap because they usually are.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
All price benchmarks come from Statistics Canada Table 18-10-0245 — the official monthly survey of average retail prices across Ontario. It covers 110 products and is updated every month. When we say something is "25% below average," we mean 25% below what Ontarians actually paid for that item last month across all stores.
Why is this better than just reading flyers?
Flyers are designed to make every price look like a deal. "Was $8.99, now $6.99!" — but if the average price is $5.50, that's still expensive. We give you the actual benchmark so you know if the "sale" price is genuinely good or just regular retail with a sticker on it.
How often does the digest go out?
Weekly, every Monday morning — timed to the weekly flyer cycle so you can plan your shopping for the week. We're considering a bi-weekly option for people who find weekly too frequent.
Is it really free?
Yes. No premium tier, no credit card, no trial period. Free forever. We may eventually add sponsored deals (clearly labelled) to keep the lights on, but the digest itself will always be free.
When are other provinces coming?
We're starting with Ontario to make sure everything works properly. BC, Alberta, and Quebec are next. Sign up and we'll email you when your province launches.
